John and I have been carving pumpkins together each year since 2001.
Often people look at them and say, "how artistic!" So, I thought I'd include
pictures of our pumpkin carvings over the years as one of my art pages.
Often we use patterns from the web, but sometimes we improvise and make our
own patterns, or even when we do use a web pattern, often we change it in the
course of our carving...mostly because we screwed up so had to improvise. :}
The part I hate most about carving pumpkins is scooping out the seeds and
parts of the pumpkin before carving, but I roast the seeds and nuke the
scooped out pumpkin (tastes great with butter and seasonings) for snacks.

Unfortunately, a squirrel decided to feast on our pumpkins, so come Halloween, there wasn't
much left of our carvings.
I'm also including below a picture of the pumpkins my grandkids Aly and Luke,
and son Ryan and daughter-in-law Heather, carved this year. Very cool!

John carved the clown pumpkin to tease my daughter-in-law Heather,as clowns freak her out.
I on the other hand love this clown, reminds me of what the clown in IT by Stephen King
would look like! I carved the jester pumpkin for friend Rik who owns and runs Mr. Zero's store
in Roseville.
